I really enjoy this app. Its better than iBooks app. The only slight down side is a bug in the Function to set theme of visual bookshelf - it doesnt show up all the time.
Very fast for pdf reading, cool animation. If the developer add zoom lock function, then it will be complete.
This is an excellent program so much that it is the only program I use. Loaded it with my old Asterix comics and use it daily. A lot of programs have problems running the pages right or scale them in such a way that you just have to keep resizing everything each and every time you turn the page. This does all the work for you, so all you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy reading.
Great PDF reader, and the price is right!
I am completely floored by this app and what it does for my comic collection! Organization is a snap and you can create folders for each category right from the bookshelf settings. Once you name a folder and select what items to move, it creates an awesome row of virtual book spines that display on the shelf. Just awesome! I love how well the page system and bookmarks are used too. I cant recommend this enough!
Love it, works great, looks great. But if you view a CBR thats really a CBZ it crashes, or vice versa. Fix is just rename file the one it isn’t. The file name just stands for ‘comic book RAR’ or ‘comic book ZIP’ for how the files were compressed. took a lot of reading and research on how to make my open files to figure out this is the issue.
This app, though it promises much, crashes too often and is too quirky and unreliable to be useful in this version. The controls for navigating your comics are unintuitive, and it regularly fails to download the entire .cbr file.
This app crashes on me occasionally but when it works its the best Ive found. The way it organizes my collection is perfect and having the option of left to right or right to left is great. I havent found a use for top to bottom yet but Im sure Ill find one sometime. If it becomes a little more stable youll get five stars from me!
It crashes whenever I browse the covers. Some of the comic covers doesnt load as well.
Enjoyable reader. Gets the job done and the bookshelf is a great addition. However I wish there was a sync option for Dropbox so you dont have to manually load every single one...can be a little cumbersome.
Launches super fast, quick zoom rendering, easy transfers and support for cbr and cbz make this the best comic reader Ive tried.
My current fave app for reading comic books on my iPod Touch. Can add files by iTunes USB sync. Pan, zoom, and page-turn all good.
Its so simple and easy to use! I add all my books in a simple click from DROPBOX! Not to mention I like the layout and the way the pages turn as if youre reading a paperback- this book reader is not complicated at all and you dont have to have an account to use it.....Im hoping you add more cloud feature integrations like ONE DRIVE and BOX but, its still perfect to me for what I need! This is the way to go!!
Love the app. Once u figure out how to group book (read the guide that comes with it) then it all becomes clear. The reader part is crisp and smooth I turned off page curl for more speed. Would love ePub support since thats the only major kissing format missing.... Kindle can do mobi but this would mean I could use the app for all most printed materials
Been looking for a manga reader for quite sometime. This one is absolutely perfect! Especially for my new iPhone 6 plus! Boooooya!
This is a great and simple app for reading my comics on my 6 Plus! However, please add the option to be able to view 1 single page in landscape mode instead of a 2-page view so I can enjoy the artwork in each page. Thanks!
With the DropBox integration, it has made it so much easier to read graphic novels on my iPad with any file format, a similar skeuomorphic design to iBooks, though in my experience much more stable than the latter. I would love to see iCloud Drive support now that that is available. Thanks for all the hard work!
This is by far the best ebook viewer out there. Features like short/wide/none intervals between pages, and curl/slide when turning pages make viewing books digitally a more enjoyable experience. These options make it vital for viewing magazines with single images layer over binding on two pages. This is critical for photography. Highly recommended!! I transfer everything from PDFs to magazines and cbrs and cbzs over on to SlideBooks on a regular basis.
Solid app since ComicFlow. Love the library style organizing feature. The Dropbox feature is also fantastic for adding comics if Im not near my computer, or if I want to share my comics with other friends who also use sidebooks. Although the app crashes from time to time, it still works fairly smooth. It is annoying with I want to zoom in on a panel and it takes up to 30 seconds for the panel to come into focus. Other than those issues, great app and highly recommended for comic book readers.
